How often should a school update its AI policy?
Review it on a schedule — at least annually, and sooner when tools, laws, or school practice change. AI policies cannot be set and forget.
Ask what is working, what students and teachers are encountering, whether approved tools still belong, and whether safety and privacy still apply. Put a date and an owner on the document.
