What is the difference between AI for consumers and AI designed for schools?
Consumer AI is built for a personal account and a general audience. School AI is built for student ages, adult visibility, tool controls, and school data practices. The model might look similar; the environment should not.
A consumer chatbot optimizes for a helpful answer. A school product should optimize for learning, safety, and a teacher who can review the thread. Terms, training use, and default tools also differ. Do not treat a personal ChatGPT login as a school implementation.
