How should a school introduce AI to students?
Teach the rules and a first safe task in the same week. Show what good use looks like, what is off limits, and how to get help. Start small — one class or club — with an adult in the loop.
Students copy culture faster than policy PDFs. Model hint-first use, disclosure, and “don’t paste private information.” An AI club or a single class period is a better launch than a school-wide login day.
