What should high school students learn about AI?
High school students should learn to verify outputs, use AI in research and projects with attribution, discuss ethics and copyright, and build with AI when the school allows it — while still doing their own thinking.
High school can hold reusable skills: checking sources, arguing when AI should not be used, shipping a small project, and talking about careers and civic impact. Independent work and AI-assisted work should still be distinguishable.
