How do schools create an AI policy?
Start with why the school is using AI, write safety and privacy lines, define student and teacher responsibilities, name approved tools and disclosure, then set an owner and a review date. Involve teachers, IT, and families — not only a technology office.
A workable sequence: purpose → safety and privacy → learning and integrity → approved tools → family communication → review. Publish a version people can read. Then put it into practice with the tools and training you actually have.
