Should schools ban AI?
A school may restrict AI for some ages or assignments. A blanket ban does not answer how students will learn to understand and use AI they already meet outside school. Most schools need rules and teaching, not only a block.
Bans are a legitimate choice for a specific task or grade. They are a weak school-wide strategy if students still have phones and consumer tools. The harder, more useful work is approved tools, literacy, and integrity.
